Steve Harris

Steve Harris is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended Bishop Gorman High School where he played football, baseball and ran track. Out of high school, he received a football scholarship to play quarterback at the University of New Mexico. He played three seasons under head coach Rocky Long before having his career cut short due to a back injury. Once football was over he went on to study Business Administration at the University of San Diego. Steve has been a longtime supporter of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, frequently donating his time to feeding the less fortunate in their kitchen. He has also been involved with the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada, where he has served as a camp counselor for their annual summer “Camp Firefly.”

Steve is Vice President of Employee Benefits for Core Nevada. Core Nevada, based in Las Vegas, is an industry leader in the design and management of corporate employee benefit programs for large companies throughout the country.
