Steve Stallworth


Steve Stallworth, a 25-year veteran of the sports and entertainment industry, currently serves as the General Manager of the South Point Arena and Priefert Pavilion. The South Point Arena is a 4,500 seat multi-purpose arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The South Point Equestrian Complex, which includes two additional arenas as part of the Priefert Pavilion, is widely regarded as the premiere equestrian facility in the United States. In 2016, the Arena/Pavilion will host more than 60 events, with 41 weeks of Equestrian events.

Steve’s experience also includes serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Orleans Arena as well as Associate Director for the Thomas & Mack Center, Sam Boyd Stadium, and Cox Pavilion. He also served as the Director of Sports Marketing for the UNLV Athletic Department, Director of Corporate Sales for the Canadian Football League’s Las Vegas Posse, and Director of Marketing and Sales for the Arena Football League’s Las Vegas Sting and the Continental Indoor Soccer League’s Las Vegas Dust Devils.

A 1987 graduate of UNLV in Communication Studies, Steve also played quarterback for the UNLV Rebels football team from 1982 to 1986. He was named team captain and received the Scholar Athlete award in 1985 and 1986, and was also named one of the Top 100 Athletes in the 100-year history of Yuma High School.

Steve is extremely involved in community activities and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame, the Las Vegas Bowl, the UNLV Football Foundation, and the Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association. He is a Youth Football coach and a former elected member of the Nevada State Board of Education.

Steve is married to the former Stephanie Pettit. The Stallworths live in Las Vegas and are parents of a 22-year-old daughter Savannah and an 18-year-old son Stetson.
